Taking its name from a basic architectural element in ancient Greece — as well as the Greek work for 'wave' — Sambonet's 'Kyma' collection is marked by smooth, curvilinear lines that trace the exterior of the objects they surround. Designed by Serena Confalonieri, the collection is defined by the appearance of a sine wave – represented by a stainless steel tube – which runs along the outside of each object, offering a soft and gentle continuity to the collection of accessories, which are based on geometric shapes. Here, the curved form is shaped into a candelabra, its stability ensured by the evenly spaced curves of each tubular wave.
